Australia’s First Diploma in Food Industry QA Management

Business Outcomes Advancing Food Safety Pty Ltd training (previously Food Operations Training arm) is, and has been, over the past 10 years, the premier food safety and HACCP training provider in Australia. AFS offer a wide range of ‘food safety/HACCP” specific courses ranging from half day on-site through to one, two, three and five day courses provided both internally and externally. During this 10 year period, more than 13,000 agri-food industry people have attended AFS courses.

AFS is now offering two new courses in Quality Assurance Management, which can provide some of the competencies required to gain a Diploma in Food Industry QA Management. These courses are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge required to manage food safety programs and to provide a “professional status” to those people who have either inherited the role as Food Safety Manager; or those who wish to move into this role in the future. The Diploma is a combination of evidence relating to the pre-requisite course attendance, participation in industry roles, assessment tasks and food industry management experience.
